Tom grew up in Darwin and has practised law in Darwin since 2010.
Tom worked for 5 years in the Commercial Division of the Solicitor for the Northern Territory practising property law, procurement and tendering, ICT, and minerals and energy. From 2015 to 2018 Tom worked as in-house legal counsel with Power and Water Corporation with a broad practice including energy and utilities law, planning and environment and corporate law. As in-house counsel Tom developed a pragmatic and commercial approach to the delivery of legal services to enable the smooth delivery of client projects.
In 2018, Tom undertook a 6 month project with the Department of the Chief Minister to deliver substantial legislative reform to the Electoral Act 2004.
Tom joined Jacobs Krajsek Wauchope in February 2019. His areas of practice include:
